Alison McGhee - Prinicpal
Born and educated in the United Kingdom, Alison McGhee brings a wealth of experience to the HR field. Alison has worked in the staffing industry for 20 years both as a leader and operator. She also has over 10 years’ experience in the outplacement consulting industry. Alison’s philosophy has always been to focus on quality of service. She grew a small boutique staffing firm by 700% over a period of 10 years while maintaining a reputation for top quality. Her outplacement services are focused on providing one on one assistance to each candidate ensuring that the service they receive is personalized and valuable. She believes that providing face to face support is crucial when working with displaced individuals. Therefore, all services are provided in person without forcing the candidate to work alone by way of virtual services.The executive coaches that partner with Career Movers and Shapers are all Ph.D.’s with senior executive business experience.
Michael R. Kirby
Michael began his career in Human Resources and held progressively responsible positions with several large national (Fortune 500) and international firms including, Hershey Foods Corporation, Sunglass Hut International and PRISM (a division of S. C. Johnson Wax Corporation). His areas of expertise in HR include Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Career Coaching, Labor Relations and HR Systems. As a sole practitioner, Michael Kirby has operated a Human Resources and Career consulting business since 2005 and has provided services for several International Career Management firms and their clients. Michael has also provided Human Resources Management consulting to several major firms including Goodyear Airship Operations. Michael has consulted with and provided career transition and executive coaching assistance to thousands of people including senior executives for numerous major corporations such as, Goodyear, Blockbuster Entertainment, Florida Power and Light, Motorola, McDonald’s, Pepsi-Cola, W. R. Grace, Lufthansa Airlines, Black and Decker, Alamo Rent- A-Car and many more. He has consistently received outstanding evaluations from those being coached and counseled. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Management and Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University and is certified in the Birkman Method of behavioral assessment. Additionally, he is a Certified Career Consultant (CMF) with the Institute of Career Certification International.
Juan L. Pujol
Juan has over 30 years senior Human Resource expertise in both for profit and not for profit environments, private and public sectors. He has led several organizations in the role of President, has instituted national award winning programs, and has been published. Throughout his career, Juan has impacted organizations by developing leaders and managers in goal oriented behavior, while assisting them to remove self- imposed boundaries that limit success. He is an experienced executive coach, career coach, business ethics instructor and arbitrator as well as a lecturer and trainer in national and local conferences. Juan’s client roster includes: American Medical International (AMI), US Federal Government, Goodyear, HBO – LA, Whitman Education Group, Leon Medical Centers, Alpha 1, Dosal Tobacco Corporation, BankUnited, Florida International University, University of Miami, Spherion, City of Sunny Isles Beach, Interplex-Sunbelt, Zade Pack and AmericDisc.
